There are so many blogs out there
about people with children and how children sculpt their relationships; I have
decided to write about my own life and what it is like to be married without kids.
Some things about me:
1. I
love to shop, eat and travel.
2. I
love my family (but sometimes think I would love them even more if I lived far
away).
3. I
love my dogs.
4. I
am surviving my job.
5. I
have been married for nine years and my husband means everything to me.
It’s a cold and miserable day
outside and I have the flu (although it could possibly be the Ebola virus I
feel so shitty) so I’m sitting in bed feeling sorry for myself.
My husband went to work today. I
spent the morning doing a little housework, but my nose was running all over
the place (disgusting!) so I gave up and went to play fetch with my dogs in the
yard. Unfortunately Charlie (golden retriever) doesn’t fully understand the
concept. He is quicker than Tulley (black lab), so grabs the toy and runs back
to me but stops just short and playfully growls wanting me to chase him, but
this morning I was coughing and sneezing too much to chase after him. All in
all my morning was an epic fail so I’ve crawled back into bed.
I’m heading to Thailand soon and
I can’t wait to be on the plane, on my way to soak up some sunshine and vitamin
D.
